How does it make sense to generalize what a "symbol" is a dream?
I read all these things that we dreamed an animal or something that symbolizes or ….. But what if I never associated, for example, snakes, with "sex" or "Transformation"? How my brain knows to use it as a symbol for these things? Does not it better to ask a dreamer What a snake means to them? eg scary, slimy, Sly, horrible (in my case) and go from there?
